Even if the car is low... can't they just get some 2x4's so the car can get on the machine without scraping and then just do a normal alignment? My local firestone has those Hunter machines I think and I've seen slammed cars get on it.

Then again, if you know a reputable shop which will do it for $80, it might be worth it for someone who knows his stuff to set it and dial it in just right?
