This time of year you can just park at the back of the long stay. Most are massive but only ever fill up for 4 weeks a year over the summer. Most like-minded people do the same so you will probably see a few others dotted around with the obligatory 1-car gap.
The only downside is you will have a 30min walk to the front of the car park!
Most UK airport car parks tend be crammed full of German cars and a fair amount of exotic stuff in the mix so your car isn't going to be singled out.
It's not like parking outside Tesco, you don't have to worry about some bimbo in a shed dumping it next you and having her 12 simpleton children all smash their doors your paintwork as they clamber out.

Haha love the way you put that mate! Well that has made me feel better and i was probably being a bit paranoid. What about getting flat spots on the tyres. Or would that not happen in 4 weeks?
