How "big" is big?

I have over 200,000km on a couple of common-rail diesels and have yet to hear about "big" (which I take to mean 'statistically significant') injector problems.

Some might say that the VW CR HPFP problems with the Bosch CP4.1 rail pump eating itself is big...that's running about a 0.13% failure rate...may not sound bad, but that's a complete replacement of a fuel system for 1.3 cars per 1000 -- not THAT would be what I call a "BIG" failure rate.

Is there anyone here who has had a fuel injector failure on their 335d?

Regards
D.
