The 888 is a true semi slick race tyre but is street legal, great in the dry but only OK in the wet.
The side wall is hard to help with tyre flex during hi-load turns TOYO make another tyre the R1R i use these on my GTR but not as good as the 888 just like Mr Blond and Pavo they go soft after only a few laps.

You can not compare a semi slick with any street tyre it is night and day, if you are into track days you need a set.
