Having read this thread I am thinking that I may have made a BIG mistake! I have just bought a Sep 2008 E91 320i SE with 11000 miles on the clock. I went for a petrol as we don't do the mileage to justify the additional cost of a diesel. Are all these problems confined to the pre-Efficiency Dynamics cars?
It seemed fine on the test drive and at least I have the reassurance of 12 months manufacturers warranty remaining. Also the BMW computer only shows 3 visits to a dealer in the past 2 years.
