I cant believe they charged your for the oil cap...that seems crazy to me. Same thing with the vanos, if they said that was the issue and it wasnt they should have put your old one back in and figure out what the real issue was. Do you have another shop around? from previous experience if you bring it to a new one and tell them how horrible the last shop was they should try to make you happy.
