do they protect the edge of the alloy rim more than normal 452's? (read somewhere on here that someone got 265/35/18 for the rear as 255/35/18 didnt seem wide enough for the alloy?

2. has anyone used Punctureseal in there tyres? http://www.punctureseal.com/
just wondered how much it costs, seems a good alternative.

3. anyone know the psi for the falkens, was thinking of getting some of these for the tyres...http://www.mandp.co.uk/productinfo.a...essure-Monitor
I have the 452's

3. I run mine off the door jamb PSI. They are fine.

2. I have Puncturesafe. Cost me £40 for the 4 tyres from a mate of mine who has a garage. There are pros and cons however. Firstly, I had a puncture recently and the tyre deflated - fortunately, I was in a town and staggered to a tyre repair place - £10 and it was as good as new. The puncturesafe did not work on this occasion. The problem was said to be (by my mate) that when I picked up the nail, I stopped for half an hour for a meeting. When I came out, I pulled the nail out, from half way up the tyre, and it started to deflate. My mate reckons that the punturesafe will have run to the bottom of the tyre in the meantime and that if I was to have kept driving it would have worked. I will never know the answer to that.

Also, this may be me, but I feel sure that the balance of the tyres is slightly affected. This is nothing major, just at times the steering wheel gets a slight "buzzing" feeling. If I turn the wheel slightly it goes. I have also read somewhere that this is a trait of the 452's tread pattern.
