A little trick my friend showed me with my CCC iDrive was changing the way it routes. When you put in a destination, it probably pops up saying "fast route being calculated"? If so, you can change the setting to "short route" and it gives you a more logical route. I almost never used my actual nav system until I found this out, now it gives me better routes that I actually use.
