I absolutely LOVE my 162 Styling wheels, just even looking at how it brings out my car is great. However, while driving my e90, I'm trying to figure out if it's the tires or the actual sports suspension in the car that causes not such a smooth ride, especially with the occasional "BANG!" sound after hitting one of Jersey's infamous potholes ;-) Luckily, for me, I haven't bent the rims but there have been occasions where I thought I had since it was such an annoying "BANG" sound.
In any case, my question is, does anyone think 17" rims (let's say from TireRack) will help ease my tension whenever I see a bump in the road ahead? As a FYI, 162 Styling rims are 18". Or is it really the sports suspension that doesn't make it such a smooth ride. I really hate to change my wheels since I love my 162 stylings but I figured maybe it's time to get more TIRE and less RIM.
Would 17" rims fit correctly into an e90 with sports suspension?
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
