No. I have mine installed in front of the chasis. The metal bracket underneath the car where the fuel lines runs up to engine. Problem is the bracket is metal and safeinjection is also metal which transfers heat to safeinjection. I am sure temps exceed 150 degrees. My location is a bad spot and probably the cause of heat issues but the flow maximum capability of this sensor based upon what tech is is BS
