Do you happen to know how strict they are about making you leave if you aren't drinking enough. I would love to enjoy a beer tent all day, I just doubt I want to drink for 10 hours straight and still have fun.

Not to worry, there are hundreds of people in those tents, there is no way they have any idea how much you are drinking.
The beer is really expensive though and it's mostly liter mugs. You do have to pay deposit on the mugs when you order one. But, when one is empty you just rotate it out for a full one, just pay deposit once. I took a mug from each main tent home last time I was there.
