I won't say silver would look better. But I do have Lancer 2011 in white with OEM silver alloys, they are very nice indeed. But, your current alloys in silver (as in the picture above) might not look very impressive. Maybe you need sthg like 8 or 10 spoke alloys in silver so that it would look better IMHO.
Personally, the current one you got in grey are awesome! If you really want some alloys in silver, just swap them over but dont spray them as OEM paint are better! I have had alloys repainted professionally before but the paint dont last long! dont know shud blame the paintwork or the chemicals in the detergent when have them washed
