You will have the same issues with walnut blasting, possible turbo failure, etc..
Get the extended warranty and the 335.

OP is considering a 2013 328i/335i coupe, so it will have the old 3.0 inline 6 that is basically bulletproof. I like both cars, but I think I'd take my chances on the 335i.
