Definitely cool. Looking forward to seeing this in production.
Lighting is a very important safety issue. Coming from a car with halogens to the projector bi-xenons in my BMW, I'll not get another car without them. Same goes for the cornering lights and turning headlamps, I miss them immediately driving other cars. Both improve safety a lot.
