You can use any lcd with vid input. Didnt want my dash to look busy/messy so I bought rearview mirror with lcd(lcd turns on only when I put my gear on reverse).
Will take picture at break time.
I have 08 with 8" lcd nav. 08 dont have input for rearview camera so I went this route. Input module was $300 last time I checked(just for module).
Make sure to get camera with Sony ccd. I can get clear view even in pitch dark with reverse/tail light. |
This might be a stupid question, but since you said you purchased a wireless transmitter.. are there absolutely no wires going from the mirror to anything?
This looks like a good solution, but I just dont want any wires dangling around in my car.
