I have an iphone ashtray mount for e90/92/93. Worked in my 2008 and 2012 335 with no issues. I am using bluetooth now so no longer need the kit. It comes mounted in the ashtray and ready to install, installation takes about 15 minutes and it works perfectly. You can use the iphone, see the screen and charge the phone. It also works through the steering wheel controls. I can include the ashtray cover top (mine is CF wrapped but is burl underneath)
