now that we know that the turbo is a parallel bi-turbo(twin if you will) set-up as opposed to a sequential set-up as was rumored, how does this fact impact upon the issue of turbo-lag? sequential turbos are touted to minimize lag given the rapid spool-up of the diminutive turbo that operates at low rpm(which seems quite plausible). twin turbos are also claimed to reduce lag compared to a single turbo since each turbo is smaller. question; if each turbine, albeit smaller, in a twin set-up only receives half of the engines exhaust why should spool-up be more rapid?
