Ive had my 325i e90 for almost 2 years now and have put 30k miles on it (currently 80k) and I drive it hard at some point every day. I have no problems whatsoever with oil consumption. Ive changed the oil 2 times myself and once had my local indy do it and im due a change as soon as summer rolls around now but my car has never given me any trouble. Id say that if mine doesnt and other peoples dont then your car shouldnt be burning oil.
