I'm not a big fan of the Genesis coupe. It looks good on paper, but feels like your driving a tin can. I have a friend who had a civic si, it's a fun reliable ride. Probably doesn't have the best fit and finish. I've always liked the gti, just a solid fun car. The 325/328 would be the choice if he wanted a nicer interior. I would definitely tell him to drive a brz/frs though before he buys anything.
