Things to Note

1. eBay dealers claim they have warranty but actually DO NOT. Finevu and Blackvue prohibit Korean versions to be exported. Blackboxmycar is an authorized distributor so guarantees that there is manufacturer warranty if anything goes wrong.

2. eBay dashboard cameras are in Korean! This means the software and manual are not in English. Blackboxmycar offers their cameras with English software and English manual. Blackvue and Finevu manuals are in English. (Blackvue and Finevu manuals may be in English but that is not from the manufacturer; the eBay dealers translated the Korean manual to English themselves.) Blackvue manuals can be found inside the SD card folder called "doc."

How to hardwire blackbox for BMWs. For most newer BMWs, BMW designed it so that no fuse stays on for more than 1hr after car is turned off. Therefore, some people have experienced that their blackbox does not stay on for more than 30-1hr (parking mode; when car is turned off).

Blackboxmycar.com asked Moto Park in Korea who installs for over 3000 cars/yr and known as one of the most trusted blackbox installer in Korea. He suggested for BMWs, power kit must be installed directly at the battery.

- Might see "AWD (x-drive) / DSC Malfunction" light and "Hill Assist Disabled" light, it is completely normal. This light comes up when the battery gets disconnected. All you need to do is "Turn steering all the way to left and then turn steering all the way to right"

- We tested it for over 1 week and we have not experienced any malfunction with the power kit.
