I don't know of any sensor that does a "quality" check. All the sensors do a "level" check. Even the brake sensor acts like the float sensors in the brake fluid, coolant, and wash fluid reservoirs.
I would change oil more frequently than they recommended. Spend your money as you see fit as opinions vary.
