I run my remapped 335d on Tesco, Esso, Bp etc. I've never really noticed any difference in any fuels. I'm sure there is a bit of placebo. I've noticed a difference after an oil / air filter change but that's about it.
You'd probably be better off using the extra 8p litre to do an extra change.
