Have you tried claying the wheel/s? Both my 330xi and 335xi had some rough brake dust worn in all over the wheels, claying them got a ton of it out. There is still some areas I need to polish to get the last of the crap out but claying fixed most of it. If you do use clay for wheels try to keep that clay for wheels only.
