it's all about awareness and driver ability. I've had a few close calls in other cars and have been able to avoid them. I do remember that my old integra was much more nimble than my BMW is, and would change direction much quicker, but the bmw is still quite good. I have also always had good tires and brakes on my cars, so I'm sure that helps.
