I braved the cold in my garage & installed it this wknd. The throws are way shorter then stock (which felt like rowing to me), shifting is notchier as expected but the effort actually feels less since the weighted knob helps it a lot. Finally it's fun the shift again ! (want to do CDV delete next).

This is a real must-have in my book, it's my 1st mod and I'm really happy with it, and $$-wise it's well worth it. If nothing else, the look of the original ball & bearing was so nasty - really dry and full of small black flakes from the rubber boot - the new set plus the fresh grease would probably have improved things by themselves.
