Same setup I have.
The LI setup does work, and it works well.
Was able to "jam to gun" (JTG) in multiple runs in light rain.
V1 mounted above the mirror with concealed display in the ashtray.
I also have the BT dongle for the V1 and display on my integrated tablet. I'm waiting for Valentine to get an app that works in landscape mode.
I put a Cobra powered speaker under my center console so I can hear the LI alerts. It's actually pretty loud when it goes off and sounds like siren in the car. No mistaking it.
