You can use the official "3M adhesive remover" but I used WD-40 and it worked just as well. Use the spary straw that it comes with to direct it into the crevices to saturate the adhesive. A blow dryer also was used to heat the areas you are putting traction on. It does take a bit of force to wiggle it off though. The paint underneath was not damaged in anyway... Good luck!
