Well it's done... looks loads better
I sprayed a load of pledge on the badge to start with then put the hair drier on it for about 10 seconds and worked dental floss behind - badges came off easy.
Then did similar process with the sticky residue. I used a similar "goo gone" product too, which worked a hell of a lot better. It wasn't made much easier by the fact a blizzard started half way through.
i'll post pics as soon as i get my exhaust done tomorrow!
