Just spoke to my dealer and my car went from arrival at Port Hueneme Saturday to cleared customs today Tuesday, and will be at the dealership tonight 7.17! It was only built on 6.12!
Derek, the guy who is handling the delivery and giving me iDrive lessons so I can speak Bimmer, is an autocrosser and a car geek, so we're bonding.
I can highly recommend Shelly BMW, Cynda Lancaster, the Fleet Manager we bought from, AAA of CA pricing (lowest around and no negotiation..we bought the car in 10 minutes!), and Derek. If you need a car in SoCal, give Cynda a call. If you're an AAA member it's even better. I've also seen positive posts about Cynda (she handles ED too) here and on BimmerFest.
