No it's a file. You go and get a backup file made off your current ECU and send to them. They modify it and send back the tuned ECU file. Then you flash your ECU with the new file.
Honestly it's just way easier to get the tune and the Simon tool for flashing and backing up than going to shops and having them do it for you. I got the tool and it was easy as pie. |
Hmmm sounds interesting. Wouldn't the tool and the flash come out to roughly the same as AA? I'm on my mobile.
