OP: Do you want summer or all season tires?
If you want summer, the latest Car&Driver summer tire comparison mentioned by another poster provides great info. So does the latest tirerack comparison test of Max Perf Summer tires, as well as tirerack's survey results for Max Perf Summer tires.
If you want all season, I recommend you look at tirerack's survey results for the various categories of all season tires.
