We are talking about the Bluetooth echo, and not of dealing with 8 channels. Most current DSP in the market have 8-channels outputs, but only the MS-8 has the echo. And to eliminate the echo JBL issued a software update that in essence
disable the processing to fix this issue.
The processing is where the 8ms delay is.
