And how was the 640? Decent power? By clutch, do you mean manual? How does the manual feel in such a luxury car and these modern engines?

They sectioned off the road course for auto-x drills. Final drill was a S pattern followed by hard stop. Driver got sideways on the first then, never made the 2nd, spun out and crashed. BMW personnel insisted on keeping cars in sports mode, big mistake if you ask me. Trying to modulate throttle on 500+ hp car for noob is asking a lot.
Power wasn't an issue for any if these cars. The 640 was x-drive so it handled the worst. The manual I'm referring to is a traditional 6 speed, I personally didn't like it but then again very clutch/manual takes getting used to. I just found the clutch pedal to be really weak, no resistance. Then again I had that same complaint with my 335i loaner, maybe the clutch is just stiffer on the Z4 lol.
