Once the OEM under-seats woofers are disconected from the black harness, the HU connection to the front speakers is cut due to parallel wiring. It was Technic idea to use these jumpers to re-establish that connection in case you will wire the under-seats directly to the amps in the trunk (base stereo system upgrade)
