I think the side profile of the 1 is excellent... It looks different and it looks athletic. The back... I can live with... I think it reminds me of the first generation Elantra... but you can also argue it has the BMW's classic L shaped lights... It is a good looking design though...
What really bothers me are the headlights... You see, I believe a BMW should look intimidating.. Not shouty like a body builder, but like a quiet, menacing stare of a professional assassin wearing a really nice suite. The 1's front looks like a wide eyed cutie-pie.. Not unlike ->
Even though... I just can't ignore a small, lightweight car with 300+hp....
