The turbine housing is NiSiCr (Ni-resist) cast alloy (e.g. D5S - 36%Ni;5%Si;2%Cr, D2B in diesels). It can be also made of Si-Mo ductile iron coated with a heat resistant cover layer of self-diffused alloy comprising Ni--Cr alloy including C, B and Si.
Turbine rotors are Ni-based steel (Silicon Nitride - Si3N4, Inconel) or TiAl (titanium aliminide) alloy (MHI) or ceramic.
Compressor wheels can be made of high-strength aluminum or titanium, also TiAl and ceramic.
The compressor housing is Aluminum alloy casting.
The shaft is stainless steel, can't be aluminium because of the heat on the turbine side.
