SOLVED: one of the ports in the head was partially clogged, it had some flow but not enough.
Ended up buying another check valve cut the top portion off blocked working port and repeatedly filled with B12 chemtrol.
Worked perfectly.
Recently used same method on friends MB ML350 and worked as well.
