Odds are if he "waxed" them...it's not chrome. There's chrome polish for a reason.

I've put nothing but sealant/wax on my chrome lips. Chrome polish is last resort when they tarnish which mine havent.
I've said it a million times on here, do not buy polished lips with Iforged. First they dont look as good or last as long as chrome, secondly polished lips are welded with Iforged which is garbage. Chrome lips are true 2 piece. DPEs are welded as well. Everyone talks about how much better quality DPE wheels are but I just dont see it.
Work/Volk = great quality but they dont fit the style of a BMW. Looks better on Nissans and Hondas
