Just received my BMW performance exhaust and intake today. I ordered it Friday morning and got it Monday afternoon. to Jason/Evan @ Tischer.

Too bad I won't see it until Friday night.

I'll post more pics (uninstalled and installed) and possibly videos/audios in the next week or so.

Spirited driving / cabin sound video
This is how it sounds like from the inside. Unfortunately though the video did not quite pick up the true sound level as I used a 10-year old video cam. The real sound is definitely louder.

Sorry, I had to blur it. I wasn't speeding but this is to make sure I don't get in trouble.

Short Review

Exhaust break in period (IMO)
At least 2 hrs of driving. The sound gets better after roughly 2 hours of driving. Then it gets better the following day.

Performance gain!
On paper, there should be around 5-9hp at 5K gain for the intake and exhaust combined. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here). I can't quantify the real world gain but I think that my car has become much quicker and more responsive (I drive in DS or manual mode). Add the beautiful and racy exhaust note to the mix and you'll feel like you're driving an even more faster car. Best mod ever for me and a must-mod for compatible NA bimmers.

No doubt the performance exhaust note is nicer and louder (in a good way) than the stock 335 exhaust

Conservative highway driving mixed with a couple of mildly spirited ramp entries

Avg MPG: 28.3
Top MPG: 30.5
Avg RPM: 2.5K (2.3K to 2.7rpm range)
Avg Highway Speed: 70-75mph (5-10 over speed limit)
Local drive: 10 miles
Highway drive: 55 miles
Total miles: 65 miles
Route: South central NJ to NYC
Note: I reset the MPG meter before I started driving

Exhaust note from the cabin/inside
It's definitely much more apparent from the cabin/inside. It will keep you smiling like a fool. And the moment you accelerate, the exhaust note lets out a nice growl from any rpm.
