You'll get the maximum durability out of any tire dressing by properly prepping the tires prior to applying the dressing. Grab a scrub brush and your choice of a rubber degreaser and make sure the tires have a clean surface prior to applying the dressing.

Blackfire will last through a few washes. It doesn't have that super glossy look, but a nice medium gloss to it when it's freshly applied. It does last longer than most water based dressing though.

Personally, I've been using Optimum Opti-Bond lately. It's a concentrate that dilutes to 1 gallon of product with their 32oz bottle. Has a great semi-gloss look to it and very easy to apply compared to a gel. I apply it using a 4 oz pump spray bottle, 2 thin coats, then go back over the tires with the tire dressing applicator to ensure even coverage. Make sure the tires are prepped properly though!
