Given that he is in Poland doesn't help either - one of the areas where computer hacking/identity theft is pretty widespread.
I suspect that Patrys is perfectly fine, but always take precautions before you "hand" your computer over to anyone.

I was going to ask if he had checked to see what else might have happened to his computer. 5 files loaded? What are each for exactly? sounds too fishy for me...
