The people that you think acid "fucked up" were likely "fucked up" already, sort of like when a kid who has an addictive personality tries hard liquor for the first time. I can remember some pretty mild mannered kids in college that turned into raging assholes after a few shots of tequilla. Same thing. Booze or acid (or coke or pot) don't change people, they reveal what was already there.

Acid can really f*ck up your thinking, for days, weeks, months after, unlike alcohol and marijuana. It can literally change the way that you think, not just your outlook on life. Not worth it.
