Talking HPFP Failures

The Bosch HPFP on my '09 335i was replaced with the Continental HPFP @ 8500 miles. I'm @ 13,225 miles now and no hickups. What usually kills fuel pumps is excessive heat (which is more than abundant under the hood of a 335i) and a lack of lubricity. Since the change I have never filled with any fuel that contains ethanol. Ethanol is corrosive. It may be fine for the 'Flex Fuel' cars but I'm not taking the chance. I also run Lucas Upper Cylinder Lubricant. The owner's manual says NOT to run any additives, but I've had great success running it in several vehicles. I'm not a believer in snake oil, but this one seems to work. I've got my fingers crossed that this problem is solved because this car is too much fun to give up on.
