No imagined elitism but apparently you two have demonstrated how insecure some BMW owners can be. My comment about BMW's becoming more affordable meant younger owners (who tend to have accumulated less self-made wealth) can now afford these cars. These same younger owners are also more likely to pimp out (op's words not mine) their car green.
