TurboEddie knows his stuff, so what am I neglecting to take into consideration? Is he worried about corrosion, restricted airflow, leaks, or am I incorrect in my assumptions above?...or some combination thereof?
There was a post on another board in which an X5d owner posted up a pic of his "cold air intake" in which the intake was wrapped around the front of the radiator and was visible in the grill. Maybe that's what he's speaking to, versus the i/c here.
