Mine sometimes rattles a bit (on and off) in heavy wind at high speed when it is open (retracted) to the "3/4" normal cruising position. I accidentally tipped 150kmh (93mph) the other day and it freaked me out as it had a very sudden vibrating fit until I quickly slowed down again. When it is closed, it is just noisy from the wind (still need to fix that with seal-plumping-goober or a new seal). No rattles when closed or tilted up. MONSTROUS wind buffeting in the cabin though when 100% fully retracted - sadly, impossible to use on the highway (maybe with the windows open to equalize the pressure? But then it'd be far too windy altogether.)
