The software saves the original map and the new altered map. You can switch over at any time (takes 10-15 mins to upload the map) so if you have a dealer visit scheduled, put the standard map on, select the option to read any tuner codes that throw errors, press the delete button to clear them all so no one is any the wiser. (at least thats how it should work
