New member from Bris Vegas

I pick up my new BMW on Wednesday, can't wait! This is such a great site for info, I thought I might as well contribute and join the community.
I'm getting a 325 auto with M Sport upgrade, innovations upgrade, sunroof, 18" rims in metalic saphire black, black dakota leather and the new aluminium interior. I'll post pictures of the beast asap.
Upgrading from a CV8 Monaro. Sad to see her go really, had alot of fun in her if you know what I mean. But I'm sick of a 6 sp manual in city traffic & $100 a week on petrol just putting around. Test drove GM's best, the Senator (impressive) but I was blown away by how superior the drive was in the BMW, I never really knew what all the fuss was about till I drove one - wow.
Bought through Brisbane BMW, great service there, reccommended!
Getting the factory tint done, but I said no to the paint / leather add ons.
Anyway, does anybody kwow if there are any BMW social events / rides around Brisbane?? And where do people get their car washed? I have been going to those hand wash cafe?
