I just had my alarm activated by Long Beach BMW for $138. The good news is that the alarm works. The bad news is that I think they updated my formerly pre-29.2 software and I now have "turbo lag." I told them not to update the software and they said they wouldn't and didn't, but my car drives (and sounds) different. So, be careful if your car is pre-29.2...
