The M135i lapped the Nurburgring in the same time as the e92 M3.
Weighed 1515kg with 320hp
The new M3 will weigh the same as the M135i with 430bhp and an LSD (improved over the e92 M3). Not to mention CF drive shaft for less drivetrain losses etc.. In real terms this car will piss on an e92 in everyway other than the noise.
The new F10 M5 did the same over the E60 M5 - but remember is significantly heavier. Sounds like someone's been listening to Colin Chapman "Simplify, then add lightness"
